Paul reached Rome.  The Holy Spirit is mentioned one final time and we are encouraged to keep on keeping on.

November 11, 25 Acts 27:1-44

The sea is almost always a symbol/place of evil and chaos in scripture.  Here the last of several sea journeys, which always in Acts signify the movement of the Gospel and reach "the ends of the earth."  The supernatural characteristic of God's watchful care as his representatives go forth with the good news.

November 9, 25 Acts 26:1-32

Paul begins his defense, Saying a good word for Jesus. . . always.

November 2,25 Acts 25:1-27

The arrival of Festus allows Paul to appeal to Caesar.  Smart move? Probably not.  God plan? Absolutely.

October 26,25 Acts 24.1-27

Although this section is quite intense it demonstrates for us the deep need to trust in the Sovereignty of God.  Keep calm and carry on.

The emphasisiis upon Paul's innocence and the guilt of his prosecutors.  All the while the plan of God is moving forward.

God's Power over creation announces His standing as King and calls all creatures in heaven and earth to Praise Him.  "How Great Thou Art" is the theme

Paul gives his testimony.  We should not be surprised when the world hates us.
