With this Psalm we will attempt to address the severity and seriousness of sin.  All of the plagues of the author boil down to vs 18. . . because of my sin.  Of course we will also point to the answer that is Christ.

In this Proverb like Psalm, we will focus on how faith is related to waiting upon the Lord.  As the Psalmist contrasts the wicked and the righteous.

Rev 2:12-17 [Both good and bad report] This message focuses on the temptation to compromise but genuine believers will be encouraged to remain faithful and gain eternal life.

Rev.2:1-7 [both good and bad report]  The theme is that of obedience to God is a good thing but the church must also have hearts of devotion to the Savior.  Out of that flows good works.
