When life has piled on and we are underneath it all and it appears meaningless we need this Psalm of lament.  We need to know that we are not alone.  And we need to sing it. . . for Jesus gives meaning to life.

Rev 3.14-22 The focus is on churches that lose sight of their dependence on God for all things.  Useless.  But Christ again calls His church to rely upon Him for their every need.
