The Road to the Cross

Luke 19:28-44

• Two words the world Hates:
  • S__________________ – that is willingly surrendering our w________ to another.
  • C_______________ – that is fulfilling our calling regardless of the c________.

 

• Salvation although free to everyone came at the high cost of Jesus shedding his blood on the cross for our s________…
• with this salvation God has given us a trust. This trust involves our a______________ and a____________ towards God and other people.
• God does not ask most of us to die for Him…. But He is asking all of us to l________________ for Him!

 

God says I’m going to provide what is necessary for you, I’m going to make you acceptable in my sight.

But you must recognize that there is an e_____________ that has to take place; your life for my Son’s. You take His life and you trade yours in for it and you can be with me.

God will accept us, but as the Bible puts it, He will only accept us in Christ.

• What I need I can’t provide …. God is going to have to provide it for me.
