To Trust:
- Trust in Hebrew literally means “to lean with the whole body” or “to rest one’s full weight” upon something.
- To trust the Lord is to rest your full weight, everything you’ve got upon Him. Proverbs 29:25 “…Whoever trust in the Lord is kept safe.”
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
- He wants us to be like the offering on the altar where we give ourselves without reservation to Him!
“In all your ways acknowledge Him”
- “All” means… in everything that you do, in every detail of your life.
- “Acknowledge” means …intimate communion… to make a place for Him.
- He will make our path straight!
- That is He will make it clear what direction we should go and will help us navigate through whatever life throws at us.
